We are seeking a Commercial Pesticide Applicator

Must provide proof of applicator's license in New Mexico. The Certified Pesticide Applicator will work on a secure government facility and will be required to submit to a background check.

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Valid Driver's License.
Valid Pesticide Applicator License

Specific Responsibilities:

Spray prescribed amounts of fertilizer, insecticide, herbicide and fungicide, using hoses and truck-mounted tank, taking care not to injure landscape
Correctly calibrate all spray equipment.
Plan current and long-range spray programs.
Maintain spray records.
Assist Project Manager with proper chemical inventory.
Responsible for the direct preventive maintenance of all equipment associated with the task of spraying.
Read, understand and keep current with all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemicals.
Perform routine safety inspections on all spraying equipment.
Maintain chemical storage and mixing areas in compliance with county, state and federal regulations.

2 years experience with applying insecticides/herbicides in a related field
Must possess Pesticide Commercial Applicator Certification from the State of New Mexico.
